Our Promise
Lifetime Workmanship Warranty
We install it right, and we stand behind our work for life.
If an electrical issue is determined to be the result of our workmanship, Lowe Home Electric will return and correct our workmanship at no labor charge for as long as the original customer owns the home.
What “Lifetime” Means
“Lifetime” means for as long as the original customer who hired Lowe Home Electric owns the property where the work was performed. The warranty is not transferable to subsequent property owners.
What the Warranty Covers
The Lifetime Workmanship Warranty covers defects or electrical problems determined to have resulted from Lowe Home Electric’s workmanship in the original scope of work we performed. If our workmanship caused the problem, we will return and correct our workmanship at no labor charge.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The Lifetime Workmanship Warranty is specifically a workmanship warranty, not a lifetime warranty on products, materials, fixtures, devices or equipment.
It does not cover failures or defects of breakers, receptacles, switches, fixtures, ceiling fans, EV chargers, panels, surge protectors, customer-supplied equipment or any other manufactured product or material. Those items are subject to their applicable manufacturer warranties.
It also does not cover:
- Work performed, modified, repaired or altered by another contractor, electrician, homeowner or third party after our work was completed.
- Existing wiring, equipment, code violations, defects or conditions outside the original scope of our work.
- Problems caused by misuse, abuse, physical damage, improper operation or lack of maintenance.
- Damage or failures resulting from lightning, utility problems, power surges, flooding, water intrusion, fire, storms, pests, rodents, accidents or other conditions outside Lowe Home Electric’s control.
- Changes to the electrical system or connected equipment made after our work was completed.
- Failure of customer-supplied equipment or materials. Our workmanship associated with installing customer-supplied equipment may be covered, but the equipment/product itself is not.
Concealed Conditions
Lowe Home Electric takes reasonable precautions when drilling, cutting, fishing wire and accessing concealed spaces. However, concealed plumbing, water lines, gas lines, HVAC or refrigerant components, electrical or low-voltage wiring, structural components and other hidden conditions cannot always be identified before work begins. Lowe Home Electric is not responsible for damage resulting from concealed conditions that could not reasonably have been identified or anticipated before performing the work. This does not apply to damage resulting from negligent workmanship.
Wall and Ceiling Access
Electrical work sometimes requires openings in drywall, ceilings, cabinetry or other finished surfaces to access concealed wiring or structural spaces. Unless specifically included in the written quote, drywall repair, texture, painting, cabinetry repair and other finish work are not included in the electrical scope of work. We will make reasonable efforts to minimize necessary access openings.
Pre-Existing Conditions
Lowe Home Electric is responsible only for the work included in our agreed scope. Discovery of existing electrical defects, unsafe wiring, code violations, damaged equipment, inaccessible wiring or other unforeseen conditions may require additional work and additional charges. Any significant additional work will be discussed with the customer before proceeding whenever reasonably possible.
Warranty Claims
To request warranty service, contact Lowe Home Electric at (936) 290-2632 or lowehomeelectric@gmail.com and provide your name, property address and information about the original work.
Lowe Home Electric must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the condition and determine whether the issue resulted from our workmanship. If the problem is determined to be covered workmanship, Lowe Home Electric will correct that workmanship at no labor charge.
If inspection determines the issue is unrelated to our workmanship—for example, failed equipment, an unrelated electrical problem, subsequent modification or another excluded condition—the Lifetime Workmanship Warranty does not apply and normal service/diagnostic charges may apply.
